AlphaBot/AlphaBot-0.5 Product Crawler

Alphabot is a unique product details crawler which indexes content relating to specific product attributes owned and operated by AlphaLeap USA LLC in Lake Tahoe Nevada. Content successfully extracted and indexed with unique titles and descriptions are available for free placement within AlphaLeap's search page which include a cached photo and back link directly to the original product page for free product promotions.

AlphaBot follows all robots.txt rules and can be explicitly blocked by user-agent name "alphabot". Limiting server overhead, each site is crawled with a minimum 60 second delay between each page call. Pages are crawled at a depth of five link levels over a period of 3-7 days on average. A site crawl is initiated by the request of site owners at http://www.alphaleap.com/alphabot_init.cgi or when manually selected for search engine inclusion by AlphaLeap staff members based on site recognition and/or quality and/or compatibility.

One of AlphaBot's unique characteristics provides site owners the ability to categorize and specifically choose their most relevant content prior to indexing - unlike other indexing methods used by most search engines which often times place more significance on irrelevent, incorrect or duplicate content due to limitations in so-called "smart indexing".
